For centuries, the church, together with the Belfry and St. Saviour’s Cathedral, has influenced the city’s skyline.

Museum Sint-Janshospitaal (Museum St John’s Hospital)
This museum immerses you in the history of care and healing, with ‘hospitality’ as its major subject. In fact, it used to be open to anyone in need of care or a place to sleep. With seven pieces by Hans Memling, a variety of contemporary art, and utensils, the museum is a welcoming space. Musea Brugge’s collection of Memling is the second largest in the world.
